Globalization in the World

Globalization is a term used in the connection between people in the world which is caused by advances in technology. The advances in technology have given communication various way to communicate with people across the globe. For example, a student in the United States talking to another student in Japan share different cultures and ways of living which shows one another how they are different from one another but still accept each other. These advances affect cultural imperalism, which is when all cultures are joining together to become one culture and Westernized. Cultures becoming westernized reflects the culture of the United States which is infuencing the other cultures to also change their culture habits into the ways of life in the United States. Social media is another form that helps cultural imperalism increase because of the various ways of communication. Internet sites such as Facebook, Myspace and Twitter give society a way to stay connected with one another and meet new people that are across the world or even in another state. 

Dominance of Apple over PC

There have been plenty different Apple vs. PC computers commercials that tell the viewers that Apple is way better than PC. These commercials have been airing for quite sometime now and I believe they are a persuasive advertisement because they compare different aspects between Apple and PC in every commercial and the results are always the same, Apple is better. These advertisement take the appeal of dominance because in every Apple vs PC commercial Apple basically tells everyone "We are better in everyway." Apple uses characteristics of style, saying how their products aren't slow and that they have more programs than PC.
